Services we use

Amaeya Media uses a few third-party services to deliver our media and services.

Transistor

We use Transistor to host all of our shows, which includes our audio and video files, related show content and analytics, as well as any advertising inventory.

When you listen to an episode in a podcast app such as Apple Podcasts, baseline information about your device (your IP address and user-agent), and what episode you’ve heard is shared with Transistor by the platforms and also recorded by the individual platforms. Transistor’s privacy policy is available here.

When you watch an episode on YouTube, the platform collects information related to your consumption. You can find out more about YouTube’s policies here.

Megaphone

Previously, our shows were hosted on Megaphone. As of 15 July 2026, Megaphone no longer delivers our episodes and therefore does not collect any data, although a copy of our archive is still currently hosted on Megaphone.
